News

                                 NEWS

The news has been our orginal source of information, that we view each day to become aware of the world around us. We rely on the news to know what is going on in the world. But have you ever wondered whats true and whats not? or even thought about if they are telling to the truth or maybe what they are saying is true but with  a few twists? Well they do change alot of the things on the news and switch things up making people believe what they are saying. For example, in class we discussed and watched the news about the boston bombing where the news reporter said they had captured the two guys who let the bombs go off, but in fact it was not the two guys, it was just two innocent boys. For a couple days the boys couldn't leave the house because they were scared someone would kill them because of how they were being blamed for something they never did.

Learned

This Pop Culture class has taught me what exactly popular culture is. I learned that it is ethical, literary, and philosophical and religious things that are used to understand our contemporary world. I really enjoyed having a teacher who is very acknowledgable about the topic and has interest in it making me very focused. The readings were very helpful and discussing it in class helped alot too. I really enjoyed this course and it has provided me with lots of knowledge of the world around us!
